Chex-Mix

Crispix Mix Original Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 cups Crispix cereal

  • 1 cup (can) mixed nuts

  • 4 cups pretzels

  • 4 tsp lemon juice

  • 6 tbsp butter/margarine - melted

  • 6 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 3/4 tsp garlic salt

  • 3/4 tsp onion salt

Directions

(Mom splits everything in half to mix separately to better fit pans for baking)

  1. Combine Crispix cereal, nuts and pretzels. Set aside.

  2. Stir together remaining ingredients. Drizzle over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.

  3. Bake at 250° for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

  4. Spread on paper towels. Cool completely.

  5. Store in airtight container.
