Buttery Seasoned Rice

2 cups jasmine rice
3 1/4 cups water
2 tsp chicken powder/granulated bouillon
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried thyme
2 Tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 Tbsp butter for step 5
Directions
Directions
Place all ingredients in a large sauce pan and stir together.
Bring to simmer over medium-high heat (edges bubbling, entire surface rippling).
Cover, reduce heat to medium-low (it should maintain gentle simmering) for 13 minutes. Do not lift lid!
Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes.
Add butter and fluff rice with spatula.
